  • How would an accident or a severe illness impact your life?
  • If money were no object, which doctors would you go to?
  • Health insurance is not just premiums; look at the deductible, co-insurance (the 30%, 40%, etc.), and especially the out-of-pocket maximum.
  • Why pay the insurance company more?  For all insurance policies, look at higher deductibles and lower rates; the savings in premium can often be substantial.

Individual Health plans are paid month-to-month.  HSA policies (see below) can be as low as $64/month for a single 27 year old.
