Baking brownies is not difficult if you take the following steps:

First you need to get a brownie mix, water, cooking oil, and two eggs.  Pam spray is optional.  You will also need a 13 x 9 baking dish, a large bowl, one-fourth cup and one-half cup measuring cups, a spoon, a knife, two hot pads, and some toothpicks.

Preheat oven to 350ºF.  Make sure there is a rack about halfway in the oven.

Pour the brownie mix into the bowl.  Add one-fourth cup of water and one-half cup cooking oil to the bowl.  Crack two eggs into the bowl, not adding any of the shells.  Then mix with the spoon until smooth.

Lightly oil the baking dish with cooking oil or pan spray.  Pour the batter into the baking dish.  Put the baking dish in the middle of the oven.  Set the timer for 28 to 30 minutes.  When the timer rings, check the cake to see if it is done by inserting a toothpick into the center of the brownie mix.  If it comes out clean, it is done.  If it is not clean, put it back in for 1 or 2 minutes then check again.

When done, use a hot pad to remove the dish.  Set on the stove for 3 to 5 minutes to let it set.  Then cut the brownies any way you like.  For 24 brownies cut it 6 by 4.  If it crumbles when cutting, wet the knife between cuts. Before removing brownies, cut around the edge of the pan.

Finally plate, serve, and eat!
